Well, I had my 2nd appointment last Friday, April 3rd. I completely spaced it and was lucky to find a friend who could take the twins and Livy while I went. The appointment itself was fine. My doctor likes to do one of those quick ultrasounds each time instead of using the doppler and all so I got to see the baby once again. It was moving around like crazy and he said the heartrate looked good (never got the number though). We still only see one so I was definitely pleased to see that as was my husband.
Later that day my oldest daughter had her 6th birthday party. I opted to have it at Pizza Hut so I didn't have to do much cooking (in case I was having a bad m/s day). Everyone had a good time and it was a nice time. I still can't believe she is 6, I feel like life is just flying by.
Saturday DH and I got to go out for a date, alone, for the first time in 6 months, lol. It was so nice, although he ordered margaritas in front of me which I told him was cruel. We went to Chili's and had a nice relaxing dinner. All in all it was a really good weekend.
My symptoms are still the same, pretty bad m/s most of the time, really tired, and completely emotional. Still I am making it through, I haven't gained weight yet which I am happy about, but my body is definitely starting to show. None of my pants fit comfortably and I have a round chub sticking out of all my shirts, lol. I'm starting to look forward to when it actually looks like a baby and not just bloating.
We are planning to tell the family the early part of May. I don't know how everyone will take it, I know quite a few people will be upset, but I am hoping they will eventually come around.

I'm glad you had a good weekend. Mine was so-so. I have a pretty big bump on my stomach and this is my first. I know i'm not bloated so maybe it's just the way my body is.
Honey as far as the people that will be upset with you for having a baby, i don't think you should worry about them. This is you baby, your family, your joy in life. They don't have to be a part of it.
