21-10-2008 - 6 month doctors appointment

When went last Friday for the kid's six month well baby appointment. Olivia is 19 lbs 8 oz, 26 1/4 inches and Isaac is 16 lbs 12 oz, 26 inches. You wouldn't guess that they were only 2 ounces apart at birth. Olivia is just my little chubby girl!! The funny thing is that they eat pretty much the same thing, but Isaac is much more active. They are both healthy and doing really well. Isaac is tongue tied and will be getting that fixed this Friday by an ENT. I am really nervous about it because they have to put him under using gas. The doctor said that the whole procedure will only take about 2 minutes and we shouldn't be at the surgery center for more than a half hour. They just use a cauterizing knife and cut the skin conecting his tongue to the bottom of his mouth. They claim that if it is not done then he will most certainly have a speech problem. So I want to go ahead and get it done while he hopefully will not remember it! Wish us luck for Friday!!

One more thing... I hope Olivia's Halloween costumes still fits!!!

I hope all went well with the ENT surgery. It is scary huh? Devin is going to have cirumcision revision next Friday. He has to be under as well. Scary but babies do heal fast!
