Hospital supplies pretty much everything you need for baby. You just need his coming home outfit, carseat, and if your not breastfeeding then the type of formula you plan on using if you don't like the hosp brand.

For you a comfy gown, granny panties to wear home that will hold the diaper pad you have to wear haha, camera, nursing bra if you are breastfeeding, socks/slippers, robe, and hygiene products. The less stuff you take the better because you will probably receive alot of gifts and flowers while you are there that you have to take home. Good luck!

My hospital supplies everything for the baby while you are there even the clothes. So I just need a bringing home outfit for him, a blanket and his car seat. For me I'm bringing some pjs (just in case, they supply you with them), socks, coming home outfit, makeup bag, small bottles of shampoo, conditionner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. Cotton pads just in case(hospital supplies these as well), camera, batteries, lip baulm, mp3 player, I'm probably bringing my laptop to watch movies, nursing bras, 2 shirts and one pair of pants (expecting many visitors in the short time we'll be there).

I ended up packing a lot of stuff that I didn't actually need as my labour was so quick! For afters though, outfits for baby + you. Nappies (diapers) + wipes. Hairbands - I would have struggled without these, I found the ward was quite warm for the babies! I also packed breastpads + a couple of nursing bras - if you're planning on feeding yourself (ointment for sore nips!). Make-up + toiletries, mp3 player..just made me feel more human! I guess it depends how long you're staying in for. I was in for 3 nights so packed a lot! Have fun getting your bag ready!

The only thing Iam taking for the baby is a go home outfit the hospital provides everything else for the baby. For me I will have toothbrush and paste, hair supples, and something to wear home the hospital provides things for perineal care and some disposal undies to fit at tleast I need those because I get big after delivery so I just use those.

For the hospital bag all I needed was diapers, wipes, vaseline for the baby and the coming home outfit. The hospital provided outfits until we came home. For me I just needed outfits, toiletries and my own pillow. My labour was really quick so I didn't need the things to take my mind off of it once I had the baby I was too busy watching her sleep or sleeping myself.
