Hey ladies wanted to write Mackenzie's birth story its gonna be short and sweet. I went in Sunday night to the hospital to get induced at 7 pm. They put the thing to stretch me from 1 cm to 4cm the dr broke my water which he did not wanna do till the morning. Well all night I was having contractions I wanted to go natural and I was doing well through the night. Then Monday morning at 8:30 they checked me and I was only 3 cm! They started the picicion drip. Oh my goodness I was not expecting this but I stuck it out 2 hours later they checked me and I was still only 3 cm! After all this pain. I asked for something to ease the pain but did not want an epi. She said the dr would give me an epi by that time I was in lots of pain and not dialating I took it! Im so mad at myself! They checked me again I was 6 then 7.5cm. Then a few hours later I said I have to go to the bathroom they said no because I had a catherter in they told me it was just the baby pushing on my bladder and did not really have to go then I had to go number 2 and the same thing. This went on for about an hour the nurse told me the more pusing the baby does the less I have to do. So she checked me fianally 10cm! The baby was so super low Mackenzie had done alot of work! Well I started pushing and 20 minutes later she was here! It was so perfect! After the epi 21 hours of labor was nothing and every bit was worth it. So Mackenzie arrived Monday the 6th 5:43 pm! She weighed 8.3 pounds and she is 20 inches. We got back home from the hospital on Wensday. We are tired but she is eating very well! Yay! Ok well kinda short and sweet. Good luck to everyone!!

Good job. Don't feel bad about the epi. You still did something so amazing!! Our little girls were almost the same size. Lydia was 8lbs 1oz 20in. She is awake every 2-3 hours in the night too. It is exhausting but I know it won't last too long. Soon enough she will be sleeping through the night. They grow so fast!!
