10-10-2008 - 36 Week Update!

My mood while writing this blog: Good!!

36 weeks today! OMG, where did time go?! I went to the docter yesterday. I am 1 cm dilated and 30% effaced!! :) My docter said she wants to induce me either at 38 or 39 weeks. Also, I had protein in my urine, so I gotta do a 24 hour urine collection and store it in my fridge! lol It was so funny when I had to tell Tim that I have to do that!! Lots of laughter!! :) Having real, but irregular contractions. They have me on the non stress test everytime I go in and that twice a week!! Freakin' crazy! It's all cuz of the protein, higher BP and the contractions. Ladies...my contractions aren't that bad yet, (even though they can get hurtful) but I can only imagine what the strong ones will feel like!! I am nervous...asking for that epidural as soon as I can! I prolly know my induction date on Monday. I am so glad that Tim has no work on Monday, he can actually come with me! Baby Gavin is doing great. His kicks have slowed down a little bit, now I feel more movement. He's getting cramped in there, I think. Even though he's a smaller baby. He was about 5 pounds 5 ounces my last ultrasound when babies on that time frame should be around 5 pounds 11 ounces. Not much smaller so the docter wasn't concerned. She said every baby is diffrent. Otherwise they rated my ultrasound 8 out of 8. So he's a healthy lil boy! Jeez...I can't wait to hold him already! As I am sure none of you can!!! :) Soon ladies we will be holding our lil bundle of joys! xoxo

LOL yeah I had to do the 24 hour urine thingy & it wasn't fun! Ugh and not trying to be gross but I accidently caught a whiff of it (I suggest holding breath @ all times b/c it made me throw up, littlerally!) Congrats on getting an inducement date, that is so exciting..take care girlie :D
