my daughters great aunt is supposed to be purchasing it for us but I was thinking the same thing about the flash cards.

I don't know ~ it doesn't seem worth the money to me. I'm a teacher, and from what I've seen, all it's teaching is decoding/identification, not comprehension (and comprehension is the key to really reading). I think you could obtain the same result by making flashcards at home. I don't know, that's just my guess ~ I don't have any actual experience with it. Let me know what happens if you get it! :)

Have any of you ladies purchased the program My Baby Can Read? I want to see if it's really worth it? I saw the infomercial and I was surprised what these babies can do, but at the same time I was a little skeptical. Let me know what you guys think.
