23-7-2009 - 9 Months Old

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

9 months? really? am i actually typing 9 months already? seems like i was just blogging about 8 months. jeez time flies. i always say that. lol

gavin and i just came back from the doctor. he's 18 pounds 13 ounces (25th percentile) and 28 inches long. (50th percentile) doctor said he looks great. she listened to heart, lungs, and looked at his ears, throat, eyes, etc. he was a very good boy considering he needed a nap big time. we discussed about trying to give me more finger foods. (i am a freak about that, i get scared he will choke, but i know i have to start because it's part of his development) so tomorrow at the store we will buy him the puff things and try cheese and the yo baby yogurt. (the doctor cleared him on it since we thought he had a milk allergy) we also discussed sleep. she said its called tough love and stick it out but to just let gavin cry til falls asleep by himself. she says it will work...just give it a month not a week and he will start falling asleep by himself in his crib instead of me laying with him. i will try it but if it doesnt work then i am not gunna beat myself up for it because i dont mind laying down with him and putting him in his crib after he falls asleep. he sleeps through most nights and if not he'll wake up around 5am and i just put in his binkie and he falls asleep til about 7ish. which isnt too bad...atleast alot better then before!

his baptism in this sunday. we are alll excited and can't wait! :)

ok gotta go ladies gavin is destroying the living room lol
