11-8-2009 - still puking at 9 months... OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok


So Gavin is over 9 months now and still pukes after he eats quite frentquently! I told his doc at his 9 month appt and she said not to worry...if he is still puking after a year old she will prescribe him reflux medicine. Mine question is...if he has reflux wouldnt we discover it alot sooner????

Any input ladies? Thanks!

They said Masen had it, we tried at 2 mos giving him cereal she said it would coat his stomach better..and it did help a little bit, but not much. So then she put him on zantac...that didn't help at all! And trying to get a 2month old that knows only boob milk to take icky meds was not fun, he hated it, and I hated doing that to him. So we just stopped and kept with cereal gradually increasing it and now he's 10mos, still pukes some but def not like he used to! For the first 6-7 mos all he wore were bibs! I did load after load of laundry he puked so much...thankfully now he only wears one when he eats! Good luck!!

What formula is he on? Is it spitting up or projectil vomitting? I hope he gets better asap. My baby drinks nutramigen due to he used to spit the other formulas up.
