03-8-2009 - Week 21 and baby movements

My mood while writing this blog:

Hello everyone. How are you doing... i am kinda good these days except tired of work... I have anterior placenta this time. and didnt felt baby moves until almost 20 weeks. There were some flutters but anyway i am feeling baby from last 2 or 3 days. I am officially 21 weeks today. and i think i should write all things and helps to remember next time hehe. also it is month away to know gender of my baby. i will write then. See you guys

Oh, I just realized that you still didn't know baby's gender - don't they do the detailed scans at 20-weeks where you live?? I just finally found out last week - GIRL for me! :o) Good Luck!! Be sure to keep us updated!!!

Hey, I actually thought that I had an anterior placenta this time too cuz I thought I remembered feeling my son move earlier than this, BUT it turns out that my placenta is located up at the top of uterus (fundus?) And, other than flutters every now and again, I too really hadn't started to REALLY feel much until right around 20 weeks this time either, so you're not alone!! :o) This is my SIXTH pregnancy, so you'd think I'd remember, huh? LOL!! Nope! **UPDATE: got an u/s at 22-weeks and that tech said the placenta is anterior, but high up, not fully covering the entire front of me, so-ooo that explains why I haven't been feeling as much this time around! I'm now into week 24, and it seems to be the "magical" week - all of a sudde, TODAY!, I've been feeling really good movement!! YEAH!!!

congrats on the half way mark. i get lots of little kicks really low like in the bowel/bladder and sometimes it even feels like shes kickin my cervix. i dont know if thats possible or not, definelty the weirdest but cutest feeling ever :)
