03-9-2009 - 25 weeks and high blood pressure OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Hello all. Anyone is dealing with high blood pressure? Mine is staying almost 130-90. I got bp monitor last week. And when getting headache, bp is 140-90...I am staying home and trying to rest well. coz dont wanna stay in hospital. got some treatment 3 weeks ago for my kidney. Very impatiently waiting for December. i had same problem with my first delivery. It was almost continued last two months before delivery and i stayed hospital on and off for a month. this time it is started very soon. Still three and half month to delivery and i am worried. becoz here medicals are not proficient like USa and other country. Next appointment is 2 weeks away. and i am waiting for this coz there is no such pain like pre-eclampsia symptoms. I did some search in google and read a lot. Do u guys have any advice. will be appreciated.

Urnaa, I think you're doing the right thing by resting and not overworking yourself. It's good that you're educating yourself on preecclampsia as much as possible too. I normally have low blood pressure, but started getting high readings at the doctors office at 21 and 25 weeks. It started worrying me, but my husband brought home a blood pressure cuff, and my home readings are normal. So, I think I'm just getting nervous when I go to the doctor :)

Hi Urnaaa...Awww thats bad...but dont worry things will get better soon. Have a lot of water and try cutting down your salt intake..and that includes all processed foods like instatnt noodles, soups, etc...Anything with "sodium" should be a no-no. Hope you get it under control soon....Dont worry, things will be better soon.
