So when I was taken off of the rotating shift and put on days only, my boss was upset. He tried to force me into taking leave then. I fought it and it was finally decided that it would all work out. But I was given the duties of one and a half persons to do. No big deal...I can do it and I was not going to give him the satisfaction of my telling him I could not do it.

They hired someone to take my place while I am on leave. This guy is a moron. He really is. My 5yo could learn this job quicker and with less of a headache than this guy. But I am training him cuz thats who they want to have trained.

Friday is our busiest day as we have to schedule for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Only last Friday was the Friday before a Holiday (Monday) so we had to schedule for Tuesday, too. One of my other coworkers were suppose to come in to help out but he called in sick. One would think the boss would stay to help out. Nope. Not here. My boss jumped up at 130 and said he was leaving. He had a Memorial Day party to set up for (party on Monday). So on Friday it was me and the new guy. Basically just me since the new guy is not trained and is a moron. Me doing the work that we normally have three people doing, plus an extra day since Monday was the Holiday.

New guy threw me behind because he had a lot of the same questions he asks everyday. Long story short, there were a lot of problems, I ended up being more stressed out than I think I should have been, or would have needed to have been had my boss stayed and helped out like a boss should have.

So today I tell him that I am going to leave a week earlier than I originally thought. My C-Section is scheduled for June 25th and I was going to work through the 20th. Today I tell him that I am going to work through the 13th instead. Taking into consideration that I was in a car accident over this past weekend which caused them to have to stop my labor AND I have a subpoena for a court case that is starting on June 16th (could not be worse timing) for some guy who tried to break into my house last year, I dont think this is a bad idea or unreasonable. His response was that he would have to see what can be done.

WHAT?!

What if I go into labor again beforehand? Is he going to make me work from the operating room while they are doing my C-Section? I am so frustrated and annoyed and I am ready to jump out the window and take some people with me.

Girl I totally feel you!!! My supervisor is just as bad sometimes!! he had me working the afternoons and night shifts until I was like 37 weeks, and I was like wtf are you doing to me. You know I have bp issues and your gonna stress me out like this and take me away from my daughter who is already missing her daddy...wtf are you thinking!!! so it's finally changed and I'm now on the day shift thank god but he still is messing with me, making me take the weekend standby shift up till i'm 37 weeks and shit like that too, are you freaking kidding me! And he's been I swear like purposely antagonizing me so I go off and I know my blood pressure is getting spiked because of it, I feel like crap half the time, and I keep getting these weird spasms and racing heart all the time, so annoying!!! I just want to smack him, and I'm only 33 weeks for crying out loud! I don't want this to get horrible or anything later on but he is so asking for me to beat his @$$!!
