Okay well my Endocrinologist had a cancellation so she was able to take me in a couple weeks early. Well thankfully they did not put me on insulin. At least not as of yet. She wants me to follow the diet plan for a while first to see if its going to work. However she did not agree with the diet the dietitian gave me, she felt that because I am pregnant it wasnt enough carbs. I agree haha jk. I do have to start checking my blood sugars 4 times a day .. ugh! Shes going to call the dietitian and work something better out diet wise then let me know. Either way I am okay with whats going on so far. I am a huge coward I mean just the thought of poking myself scared the, well crap outta me. But I just need to remind myself that this is not just for me its for my little guy. Even though he is not here yet he depends on me and how I keep my body for his health. I would never want to do anything to put my angel in any type of harm so I gotta go what I gotta do. Even if it means giving up sodas Ive been addicted to since I was 7, and saying bye bye to fried chicken and burgers. I love my baby much more than any of that. I have to do this, I will do this, I can do this!
