13-11-2008 - GD Update

My mood while writing this blog: Pissed with Myself

Well it happend, my numbers were to high 3 days in a row and my diabetites dr just called and is putting me on insulin. 4 injections a day, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. I hate shots more than you can imagine, but I love my son more than myself so I have to do this for him. I guess I can look at it like this I only have about 5 weeks left go. I can do it, I have to do it. I have to go pick up my pens, luckily its not the type where I gotta inject it into my vein or anything. Apparently they look like little pens with a tiny needle and you can inject them in your arm or inner thigh not sure if anywhere else. No way I can put it in my inner thigh that part is way to sensitive, I should be able to do it in my arm it is a little tougher and might not hurt as bad. I hate this! But I would do anything for my son.
