20-1-2009 - Finally went to doc!!!....and boyfriend maybe dissapointed??

Finally! i had my second doctors apptointment ever with this pregnancy. I went to my first one at 9 weeks prego and didn't have insurance at that time so payed full price for appointment and sonogram. I couldnt afford that again so I decided to wait until i had insurance so, with this job i got insurance and was so thankfull and relieved to be able to have a 2nd appointment. While every one was talking about going to the doctor and getting tested for this and that, i just couldnt help but feel like i was being a bad mom for not getting full prenantal care. I went today though and they said my due date according to sonogram was May 20th, 3 days from what i originally thought, that the baby looked perfect and that were having a BOY!!!!!! I was happy but could tell in my boyfriends expression and the way he acted afterward that he was a little dissapointed. That made me feel really bad since he was so excited about possibly having a little girl and calling the baby "her" and correcting me everytime i would call it a "him". He tells me he's not dissapointed and that as long as the baby is healthy he doesnt care, but i can tell he does. He just needs to get used to the idea i guess.

thats how my babys daddy was too... but don't worry!!! as long as ur excited!!! i got my two boys t-shirts... for the oldest it says BIG BROTHER and for my little one it says LITTLE BROTHER! they are way cute and i could careless how bad everyone wanted a girl!

ITS GOING TO BE OKAY BABY DADDY CANT ALWAYS GET HIS WAY MAYBE ITS BETTER ITS A BOY CAUSE GIRLS CAN BE A HANDFUL TOO....PLUS IAM SURE UR LIL GUY IS OLDER AND HE'LL PLAY THE BIG BROTHER ROLE REAL GOOD. GUYES GET OVER IT FASTER THAN US AT TIME AND FOR SURE THATS ALL THAT MATTERS THAT THE BABY IS HEALTHY. IT'LL BE OKAY WATCH.
