24-3-2009 - 31 weeks appt

So today i had my 31 week appt and all was good :) Well except my weight, I gained 3 more lbs since 2 weeks ago which makes me at 32 lbs. Thats pretty bad. I cant understand though cus i weigh myself at home and havnt really put on any weight for a month and then i go to the doc and the number on the scale keeps going up. Blood pressure was good. Measured 30 1/2 weeks. What did make me feel very happy was that i asked my doc if he induced for non medical reasons and for my convenience before due date and he said YES! If my cervix looks to be ready then he will go ahead and do it.So he told me to remind him in a month and he would schedule me to be induced at 39 weeks. He said he feels it works better to know when your having the baby so that you can plan ahead of time what your going to do with children and family. And i defenilty have to tell my job when my last day of work will be since i have to work till the last day. No new stretch marks. Just the same ol same ol from my last pregnancy but my stomach is getting so itchy! My sister in law had her baby today and my boyfriend didn't want to hold him because he said he was to small and was scared. He's brother in law said the same thing. Why are men so scared to hold a baby? So anyways, i told him he better not even get that way when our baby is born. We're in the process of moving to our new house we just bought so i've been doing some packing up and helping somewhat with painting the new house and next week we move all our furniture. My birthday is friday and its going to suck because i work from 645am till 730 or 830pm. So i'm going to spend my birthday stressing i'm sure because this whole last week of work was so stressfull and felt like crying every time i came home from work and am not looking forward to this week. Every morning that i go into work i tell myself "today is going to be a good day" and it just doesnt happen that way all the time but aaaannnnyyways i'm just venting and keep going on and on and i'm sure its getting boring soooo i hope everyone is having a great pregnancy and is doing well!

the same thing happens to me to. at home my scale is off like 4 pounds from the dr.'s and im like what the???? but 32 lbs isnt bad some people on here say they gain like 75 lbs!!! well happy early birthday and hope it's a good day for u. and try not to get stressed out even though its easier said than done
