Sometimes no matter what you do is never good enough. I would have balled my eyes out. Its very possible that something was wrong with the poor thing.

Poor Kitten! We use to havelitters all the time when i was little cos around here on easter they are so easy to get rid of, but anyway a lot of times if the mother thinks the kitten isnt going to make it she generally just leaves it or them in a corner and wont clean or take care of them, it weird how they know that there is something wrong with the kitten but thats how dogs are too.

Well my husband happened to be up at 2 am and went to go feed the kitten again, cause we fed it at midnight, and the kitten had already died=( It really sucks, but we did really try..I just think it really needed it mother. Maybe if it were a few days older and then she stopped feeding it, we may have had better chance feeding it and saving it. Maybe it had something wrong with it, It pooped on mike when he took it out to feed it so we thought that was a good sign. But i thought the mothers made them poop and ate it...I have no idea, all I know is I can't look at it or i'll be in tears again. It was a little grey one too, just like my husbands cat Storm who passed a way on Jan 5th 2008..just before I found out I was pregnant with Celese...that was really hard then, she was almost 8 and overweight, she took a heartattack right in front of him...she was like our baby. I made a photo collage in a picture frame for mike of her...and it's hanging on our wall, she was always a part of our family. Well I have to get to Celese now, wish I had better news...poor thing, well if it was suffering it isn't anymore..
Hope everyone else has a better day, My ultrasound is in 8,, that's keeping me happy :)
Well as of today 2 of her 4 kittens didn't make it, I hope the other 2 do, they seem to be completely fine...maybe the other 2 just weren't strong enough... it's sad but now their not suffering..
