04-11-2011 - monthly blog update 24 weeks

My mood while writing this blog:
good

week 24 already! times flying thats for sure, ok so apart from being tired im feeling fine just started taking my iron tablets today as it turns out (after a cock up at my doctors) that i do need to take them afterall, im hoping in a few days il get that burst of energy lol better late than never, at my midwifes app tues everything was fine baby/uterus are the right size and at the time he was lying sideways (like in a hammock my midwife said!) his heartbeat was great very strong and fast im feeling him move all the time nearly especially when ive eaten something sweet or spicy, i still keep refering to the baby as he or him as we have no clue for names! hopefully one will just pop up in the next few months an il be like yes thats it! still very laid back and apart from some socks, nappies and 2 pairs of trousers i havnt actually bought anything for him yet lol, what with birthdays, xmas and other financial struggles i havnt had any spare cash! il get the essentials at the last moment no doubt! i really dont feel any sense of urgency with this pregnancy as i did with the last 2, sent off my maternity forms today im planning on finishing work end of jan 2012 so il have 4 weeks off before the baby comes, although if he comes early i wont-my concerns this perg is that as its my 3rd and i tend to have quite large babys this ones gonna be a 9 pounder! il probably decide to get induced (not a big fan of being induced tho, i was induced with my first) a few weeks early if so as i struggled a bit last time with seth, il will obviously have to wait and see once i get to 35 weeks and make a sensible desision then, once i finish work is when i seem to pile on the baby weight but i cant wait! im slowly starting to mentally get ready for the birth but not quite lol hope everyones doing good too xx

glad your having a healthy baby!!!! im right there with you i havent gone shopping for the baby yet we have one pack of diapers and two onesie lolz!!! we brought a new house and have to get new stuff and now the holidays omg too much=) so i gues both of us will be waddling in the store at the end of our pregnancies lolz maybe someone will throw u a babyshower after the holidays n you wont have to worry about getting all the stuff=) take care

Those middle weeks of the pregnancy do fly don't they!? Mine did as well until I got to week 35 or so and then it started to drag a little! How are things with you and your partner now? Keep well :o)

Glad your pregnancy is going quick for your hun - 9lb babys OMG!! haha My daughter was only 6lb 11oz when she was born & that was big enough for me...hopefully you'll make the right decision for you nearer the time regarding being induced. Keep enjoying your baby, the movements are definately the best! xx

Glad you are doing well & wow, I agree, where is the time going??? I am a control freak and have still not bought any more than one outfit and 3 funky bibz, so not me, but all will happen in the right time when mommy is ready. Thinking of you & good luck xxx
