Good news... After spending almost four years in Oklahoma, we found out we will be moving to Hawaii in March! I'm so excited about our upcoming move, and look forward to spending three years on a beautiful island. That being said, I will be six months pregnant when we move, and I will go about 6-8 weeks without seeing a Dr. while we are moving. When we get there we will have to wait a long time to get a house, and will be staying in temporary lodging for a while. We won't have a house before the baby comes, and the thought of that is a little unnerving...
DH will leave for training in January, and won't be back until a couple of days before they movers come to pack up our house. A lot of excitement goes into a move, but a lot of apprehension as well. The military will take care of most of the cost, but we will still have to pay to ship one of our vehicles to Hawaii.
I still haven't told everyone that I'm pregnant because I don't want to hear a bunch of negative comments from the peanut gallery. DH sent his sisters a facebook message last week telling them I'm pregnant again, and they haven't even called and congratulated us. For some reason people no longer view children as a blessing... Funny, because 50 years ago there wasn't really any birth control and everyone had large families.
So far I've had 2 u/s's, one at the Dr.'s office and one at the hospital. I was sent to the E.R. at six weeks because I kept cramping on the left side and the Dr. wanted to rule out an ectopic. All they told me after 9 hours in the E.R. was that the baby was in the uterus and my hCG was 58,000. The following week my Dr. told me the E.R. u/s said I was further along and put my due date as June 16th. He said it was close enough that he didn't feel like changing it, so it's still June 21st.
I have another Dr.'s appt. tomorrow, and I have a special birth defect u/s on December 15th because I'm 35 years old. I'm 100% positive it's a girl because I feel so sick, and have six previous pregnancies to go by. I have names picked out either way, but I know it's a girl.
