07-8-2009 - Impatient!!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Okay, up until this point I think I've done a good job of keeping my cool, but I'm getting ready to blow my top!! I started bleeding July 3rd, went to the E.R. and found out that the baby died. I bled heavily for a few days and by July 10th the Dr. said my cervix was closed and all was good. My Hcg on July 3rd was 15,000, and by July 8th had dropped to 800.

I assumed that everything was good until I took a HPT on July 31st and got a faint positive. I took a couple of more tests and the line got darker each time. Monday I went in for an Hcg test and the level was 96. I went back on Wednesday for a repeat test and I still haven't heard back from the Dr.!!!! The test only takes 15 minutes to get results.....I know because I called the lab and asked them myself!!!!

If it's left over from the m/c and they want me to have a D&C then I need to know ASAP because DH is gone until the end of this month for training. I can't go through that kind of procedure with 5 kids and no one around to help out. That means my only option is to see if my Mom can take off work and fly up here for a couple of days.

My Mom, DH, and children keep asking me if I'm pregnant, and my heart is breaking because I honestly don't have any answers for them. I had a little spotting this week, but it wasn't much....just enough for me to notice, but I'm just fed up with this. This was my first m/c so I'm sure this is a normal thing and I'm probably just over reacting. On the other hand, it's hard not to have a little bit of hope for a miracle....

Oh well, right now I'm stuck in limbo land because the wonderful nurse "Melissa" refuses to call me back with my test results....

Please pray for me to be patient!!!!

I can totally appreciate with how you're feeling. It's a horrible feeling to wait and wait and wait and have no answers. Hopefully the answers will soon come.

I am sending lots of patience your way, although I do not have a ton myself! I am sorry for your stress! Wish I was closer so I could help out with the kids. I will be really hoping for the best for you. You and DH have made such a huge sacrifice for our country and I really appreciate and respect that. I imagine it is not always easy and I am so sorry for that. BIG HUGS TO YOU!!! - SB
