13-6-2009 - *5 Weeks!*

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Wow that last week went really fast! I am back in my nursing classes so I am busy busy Monday through Friday. I ended up telling the girls in my clinical group that I am pregnant, so they are very excited and we get to talk babies on our down time. They are being very supportive about making sure that I ask for help if I have a patient who is a hard lift, and to keep out of the MRSA, VRE and shingles pt rooms. I was kinda worried how clinicals would go having somewhat of a "restriction", but I think it is going to work out just fine!

I am still feeling great! Slightly sore BBs but no M/S, bloating has gone down a touch and my energy level is just about where it was before I got pg, I just go to bed earlier! I am hoping I can keep from having M/S entirely or at least only mild so that it does not interfere with my nursing school.

My husband has been so cute. I bought him a pregnancy book for men "Pregnancy Sucks: For Men" and its written in a funny way and he can't stop reading it! I told him he is supposed to go along with me in the book but nooooo... He is very good about asking questions when something he reads concerns him and he has been very supportive and sweet to me.

I am doing the Race for the Cure today with my mom, I think we are going to walk the mile...not sure that I can walk 3 miles since I am pretty out of shape haha! I want to really get into walking throughout this pregnancy so I can keep from gaining too much wt as I am already a "curvy" girl as it is.

I am counting down the days until my first doc appt. A week and 3 days still to go....
