ladies i need your help/ advice. i would like to no if you used ovulation testing kits and how u found them . im currently ttc number 2 and i used them in my 1st ttc and and i neber got a positive at all, ive seen pictures on here wen people have a a faint line for a neg and dark line for positive, my are always blank!!! (obviously control line is there) this happened wen last time , and i concieved that month, an again this month im testing and nothing again, , i mite just stop wasteing my money , an hope its the right day we bbd :-( any1 else had this??? xxxx

One reason that you might not get a positive because some people only produce the LH surge for a matter of hours.. And so, if you are testing just once a day, you could totally miss your surge. I actually think taking your Body Basal Temp every day is alot more accurate. And its really really cheap.. I think the thermometer is like 6 bucks at walgreens and there is a website that if you enter in your numbers every morning, will tell you when your Oing. and BBTing can also give you a clue that your pregnant! Its great! The website is fertilityfriend.com. Also, I used the OPKs from a site called early-pregnancy-tests.com and you can get 25 Ov tests and 10 pregnancy tests for 16 bucks and they are the most sensitive pregnancy tests on the market.. Thats what I used and I would use the Ov tests 2 times a day, thats the only way I found my positive...,br> If you have any more questions, let me know.. I can tell you how to BBT, But there are also directions on that fertilityfriend website... Well, good luck and sticky baby dust to you this month!!

Oh...and this is the time I know I'm fertile anyways...but I just wanted to make sure I was having a surge. Some people don't and they may not ovulate so it's a good thing to find out.

Don't laugh...but the dollar store ones work great! I usually buy 5. I start testing on day 9 or 10...and my lines will continually get darker and when I hit day 12....usually the line is as dark if not darker than the control line. Then day 13 and 14 it starts to lighten. My cycle is about 26 days. Your LH surge only happens for a day though and that is when the line is the darkest. Best to have sex within 24 hours but not later than 48. LOL Nice window right???? Or I'd say just do it before and after the surge as sperm can live up to 5 days. I used them last month and it was my fault for not "doing" it at the right time...but hopefully this month will have worked. Day 20 here...and counting!!!! Good luck!

i used some OPK Kits with my first child..and i KNEW i was Oing even though the kit said i wasnt... when i finally got a posative i was done Oing..it was weird..so this time i am going by what my body says ..didnt even buy OPKs
