06-1-2009 - Week 34

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I'm a little confused as things seem to be going backwards. Couple of days ago I have noticed the baby has dropped . . . which kind of freaked me out because I'm on baby # 3 and I was told this doesn't happen until right before labour if you have had children . . . Yesterday was just weird. I was nauseous and vomiting all morning. . . and I thought my morning sickness was done with. . . it was over in 1st trimester. I had diarrhea . . . and I thought I was supposed be constipated due to the iron pills I recently started taking. I felt weird all day. In the evening I got heartburn . . . which I was lucky not to get all pregnancy and especially with the baby dropping getting heartburn now ? . . . I have been waking up every hour at night in the resent months to either drink or pee . . . well with the baby dropping and pressing on my bladder I was expecting to wake up every half hour . . . to my surprise I slept ALL night. . . . for the first night in months!!! Today all I wanted to do was clean and organize . . . I went through every box in my storage room. With my other two boys I went through nesting a few days before labour. So what does all this mean??? Am I going to be going into labour any day now? Was it a weird day flu and actually sleeping gave me energy? I guess all I can do is wait and see.

I don't know about all of that, but I do know that I have been feeling very icky stomach-wise in the last week or so. I have alot of the same symptoms I had my first trimester (which was AWFUL). And I know that iron does cause lots of stomach issues too. That's why so many of us got sick off of our prenatals! If you are really concerned, ask your doctor. I think the energy spurt is just another example of how the hormones affect each one of us differently. You're lucky though! I am soooo exhausted all of the time!
