08-4-2010 - Update and pics of Braylon

My mood while writing this blog: Super Happy!

Hey there ladies. I figured i would update! We FINALLY moved back to Iowa. yaaaaaaay! lol. I couldnt be more happy!! And we moved into our new house Last wednesday. I LOVE it. It is very nice and I live only 10 houses down from my sister. Couldnt get any better than this! This summer is going to be a blast. :)

My little man will be 9 months in 5 days. Cant believe it! At his dr. appointment he went to a few weeks ago he weighed in at 15lb and 12 oz. So he only gained a couple oz. And the pediatrician sent us down to the lab and my poor lil Braylon had to get blood taken from his arm. I cried before it even happened. I hated that. He actually did pretty well though. They did the lab work on him to make sure there wasnt an underlying reason why he isnt gaining weight.

His labwork came back normal. :) But they wanted to send him to a nutritionist. Well....we just moved to iowa, and i took him to the doctor here, and they weighed him last tuesday and he weighed 16 lb 2 oz, and she said she didnt think he needed to go to a nutritionist, but to come back for a weight check in 3 weeks. I dont think there is anyhting wrong he is just petite. And i am still breastfeeding. He STILL wont take a bottle. And usually breastfed babies tend to be smaller. He is trying a lot more food now and liking a lot more! so thats good. He loves Nutrigrain bars and cookies. lol. And i sauteed some yellow squash in butter, garlic and a beef boullion cube and he LOVED it. and also baked beans.

His skinny lil butt is still in a size two diaper and he is for the most part in 9 month clothes.

Just the other day i stuck my tongue out at him and he mimicked me and did it too. :) It was sooooo cute. Then he wouldnt stop sticking his tongue out for the rest of the night. haha. He is SUCH a mommas boy. He crawls over to me and pulls himself up on my leg and tries to crawl up me and crys cuz he wants me to hold him. He is kinda spoiled. He is sick right now, with a runny nose and a cough. He is also getting his fourth tooth in so that might be to blame for not feeling good also. He has been sleeping a lot, Last night he slept the whole night. Went down at 8:30 and i woke up at 9:30 in the morning to find him awake in his crib but not crying..just laying there content. :) I was lucky last night..usually he doesnt sleep through the night.
