21-1-2010 - Braylon is 6 months Pictures and Videos

Wow...Cant believe it. Growing wayyy to fast for mommy!!!

Just this past weekend which was January 15th through the 17th Braylon did SO many new things. His two middle bottom teeth came through...explains why the lil booger has been so cranky lately. He had baby food for the 1st time. He didnt like it at all. I tried rice cereal mixed with bananas 1st...then only bananas..2 days later tried squash. Each time he just gagged and coughed and made a yucky face! So i am going to put that on hold for a little while...I am still exclusively breastfeeding. He still wont take a bottle...and hates the taste of formula.. Little stinker. lol. Also he got up on his hands and knees for the 1st time. AND he said his 1st word! ......DADA. yep. lol Jake was so proud. And..rubbing it in my face that he said dada first instead of mama. lol. I cant believe my lil man had so many milestones and accomplishments in jusgt one weekend. Makes me happy but sad at the same time to know hes growing so fast!

Here is a video of my lil man saying his first word. :) The video isnt the greatest cuz its kinda blurry but you can see enough and hear him saying it.

Awwwww i know im a bit late as i have been so busy and not able to be on the intrernet, but thats awesome having braylon learn so many little things in one week! it makes you so proud huh, i love that feeling...! With the food, they say a baby has to taste the same flavour at least 6-12 times before they actually come to like it, so stick to it and keep with the same stuff for a few days. i had the pear and banna farox cereal for kyelahs first foods. And same with the formula, have you expressed and maybe put breastmilk into bottles first, If he is already ok with bottles and its just the formuls then try the same as the foods, I had to keep giving it to kyelah over and over and over for almost a week. she used to spit it out everywhere, i put it in her rice cereal too and eventually she took to it! now shes beimming a lil stinker at 8 months old shes spitting food EVERYWHERE if she doesnt like it, it makes me so frustrated.. we have some very messy meal times. haha xx
