24-6-2008 - Date to the movies ;-) OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

On Sunday, June 22, 2008, Daddy and I were able to have our first post-natal date night...Yipeee! Auntie Shan watched Nygel for about 3 hours while we went to see Iron Man. I was so happy to get out, but I thought about Nygel the entire time. She kept us posted via text. She said he was very good (this I already knew :-)), and she was able to sharpen up on her Nintendo WII skills. We were really appreciative, and can't wait until the next time. Thanks Auntie Shan!

BTW, Nygel is still waking up every three hours at night (He's 2 1/2 months, and I breast feed). Any suggestions on how to get a longer stretch?

Aww....It is so nice to get out of the house, but you almost feel guilty.
As far as him waking up every 3 hours at night I would call your doctor. I know that breast milk is digested quicker than formula. Though I know a few people who strictly breast feed their babies and they sleep a bit longer at night. If you are just totally exhausted I would call the pedi. If you are okay with it I wouldn't worry. Some babies just need to eat more often.

Is he breast fed? I hear breast fed babies just wake up that often. I'm glad ya'll got a date, yet jealous. Must be nice!
