My daughter is so happy about her baby brother. When I went to my ultrasound they recorded the whole thing to DVD and set it to music. I have about a 30 minute DVD of the baby in 2-D and in 4-D. I've already seen it like 7 times since getting it done yesterday. This morning I slept in and my husband got up with Lily and the first thing she said she wanted to do was "watch the baby movie!" She loves it! Its so adorable. And when the DVD is over she starts getting upset and insists on watching baby brother again. How cute is that??? She is going to be a good big sister.

I'm really happy my husband took me to get an ultrasound done early. It was only supposed to be like a 10-15 minute session and I ended up staying in there for about 45 minutes. I got my moneys worth I guess. At first the baby wasn't cooperating (I think he was trying to sleep.) He wouldn't move his little foot so the ultrasound tech could see. After her poking the belly we finally got a little glimpse and she was like "I SEE BOY STUFF" And my husband saw it too but I couldn't believe it. She got 1 image but it wasn't enough to convince me. haha. finally we got some good images of his privates. Then on top of that.. the baby reached down there and started playing with his boy parts!! LOL Its so funny. In one of the pictures you can actually see him with his hand down there. Too funny.

It was AMAZING and so BEAUTIFUL. The atmosphere was angelic and cozy. It was nothing like a doctor's office and they even played soft, calming music in the background. It was such a wonderful experience and well worth the money. The thing that really got me is when they told me it was a boy... then.... he picked his little hand up and started opening and closing his little fingers. I CRIED.. tears were just streaming down my face. It was wonderful. I'm so happy and I can't wait to hold him in my arms. I already made my baby registry and I'm going shopping for him this coming week. :)

Hurry up and grow baby...!! Sometimes June seems too far away but I'm thankful that I have the time to at least prepare for him and buy all the things he needs. YaY. I love to shop and this is going to be so different buying boy stuff.
