My mood while writing this blog: headachee. |
so i had an apt yesterday with the obgyn. everything seems normal and going good. but my dr is stressing to me to get the h1n1 vaccine. he said that the first vaccine that came out had mercury in it but the second vaccine they have now has no mercury or perservatives. (which would be the one im gettin) how many of your girls have got it? & do you think i should get it? and how many of your girls haven't got it and are against it? anyways, he said that the vaccine will protect the baby from the h1n1 flu after he is born. he said that the most deaths are going to be in the new borns from the flu. i'm so stressed about it, and i want to make the right decision but i dont know which way to go. so i need your advice girls! thanks :)

Tuesday, 1 Dec I am not getting it. I even read an article about mommies 2 be in their 1st trimester that got the shot a lot of them ended up miscarrying within the week. {They got the shot that does not have murcery in it}Of course there is not a proven fact that the shot actually caused any misscariages. They are a lot of things that do. But because it seems to me that the statistics are high then I would rather pass on it. If youlook back to when they first came out with the first flu shot . It was causing people to get deathly sick & even caused death so maybe in a year or so but for now I am against it.. kikimama10 -

Tuesday, 1 Dec I got the shot, my doctor said that it was important that I did get it. I was stressed about it also and I asked him lots of questions and stuff. Basically it's supposed to protect the baby from getting it when it's born. Plus where the pregnant woman's immune system is lower during pregnancy it makes her more immune to viruses. My doctor told me that a woman in Columbus, Ohio was perfectly fine, got the h1n1 virus and passed away and the baby lived. (which is so sad) I'm not trying to scare you into getting it. But I did it for mine and my baby's sake. Good luck with whatever choice you make! nicki90 -
Tuesday, 1 Dec im not getting it- i have never even had a flu shot my entire life until october- and i ended up getting sick 4 different times after that- im just worried if i get the h1n1 that i will still get sick- plus now they r ssaying that just like any virus/flu it is becoming immune to the vaccine- so what would be the point?? my dr is mad at me b/c she keeps telling me to get (and so is my mom) but i just dont feel safeand d/f is supporting whatever decision i make which is making it easy for me to stick to my opinions, but i also dont work anymore so im not really in contact with people, i guess its just a personal choice that YOU have to make and whatever u choose to do u will have to live with- good luck!!!!!!! mum2bemay2010 -

Tuesday, 1 Dec That's wierd, because my doctor said that the shot won't protect the baby against it after he/she is born, ONLY if i breastfeed it will. But he still wants me to get it but I'm still saying no, only a 2 months left so..
