28-4-2009 - Just an update!

I've been rather busy the last couple of weeks so I thought I would just write you girls an update.

I had my step mother visiting for a week which was a nightmare. She kept telling me how I am carrying in my ass and I think that's where I got the complex about my weight. She is such a know-it-all and already lecturing me about what I should or shouldn't do once my baby is born. And it's not like she has a lot of experience. She only has 1 son and I think she messed him up in a lot of ways. He is 12 years old and a real brat.

When they left, my sister and broter-in-law came to visit for a week. My sister is still on maternity leave and I had such a nice time getting to know my godson better. He is 3 months old and adorable! I fell in love with him! It also opened my eyes a bit to what to expect once my baby is born. I realise it won't all be easy. I think it is good to be aware of this, so that you can avoid dissapointments. Babies do cry a lot, they wake up during the night, they do get sick. But I also realised that 1 smile makes it all worth while.

I have also been rather busy in the nursery. The theme is going to be Noah's Ark. We are planning on having 3 or more babies, so I want the room to be unisex in a way. I will be adding girly touches however.

We went looking at strollers, but I can't decide what I want. I know I should be practical and get something that can fold up small, but I really like the big Jeep strollers...

Well, I'm just wasting your time. I am bored and don't know what to do with myself. Thank you for reading and have a nice day!

sounds like my mother-in-law and your stepmother would get along very nicely. I am carrying it all in my ass though, I was putting on a skirt today and had trouble getting it up from the bottom of my butt ^.^ Don't listen to her, she's just bitter lol, the nursery idea is cute, I wanted a boy so I would be able to decorate like that, instead we're going with japanese cherry blossoms, but I agree with the stroller, we want one that folds but I also want a big one lol
