Well I would just like to tell you about my day, and oh boy what a day it has been. My eldest daughter woke me up this morning (19th April 2008) as it is her birthday and what a great day it has been for her! We started off with going to the cinema, followed by lunch at my mum's house, followed by bowling and McDonalds with two of her friends and a sleep over which is what she really wanted. I got home after lunch with my mum to have a phone call saying my Nan had died and I could not leave my mum cry on her own so my eldest went to play with her friends and I went to my mum's house to console her (my eldest will not know about my Nan until Friday because she is so sensative and she was close to her plus she is on a school trip for 5 days and she is nervous about leaving us all) So mum and I are crying so upset, then I came back for Krysta's friends and took them bowling only to find out that my DH aunt had died 2 days ago and just found out this afternoon, followed by my SIL may have a colostomy bag at the age of 32, plus the m/c we had and I am starting to feel so unlucky, and so emotional today and I hate myself for not telling my daughter but it is for her good and not my selfish needs. I am so upset right now and could not cope with anything else, I am tired and drained and what am I to do? My daughter has had a great birthday while I have put the music on in the car loud as I could cry. I want to comfort my mum but have commitments here and then some plonker decides to park and block me from getting in my car space and that was the last straw can you believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am now sitting on the sofa writing this and waiting for the kids to go to bed so I can just talk things over with my DH. Thanks for reading, sorry it is depressing, love ya all xoxoxoxoxo

I'm sorry to hear about your nan. The same thing happened to me in march and I too didn't tell my kids right away.

Oh my...sorry to hear about this. If you need anything, let me know and my condolences to you and your DH. Take care and remember you have a little one inside that needs you to be strong. A dear uncle passed when I was 2 months along and it was the hardest not to grieve bc of the baby. Be strong and XOXOXO.

I'm very sorry about your bad day. I hope it gets better. I know how those days go too.
my step dad died and two weeks later I found out my 1st child (i'm 21 y/o) is a boy but he has down syndrome. IT stinks! He may still have my genetic skin problem too.
But things look up and i'm sure it'll get better for you as well.
