My mood while writing this blog: Fed up, again |
I have had enough! It is my big 30th Birthday soon and I am sick of going out for a family meal with the horrid endless chit chat with family.
When it is your birthday do you do something you want to do and invite all that you want or do you do what everyone else wants to do and not really enjoy your birthday or make the most of it. I am confused.
I suggested BINGO which all may win some money and it is great for me because it finishes early and you have to concentrate on numbers and I get to relax, but all of my family won't come if I do that, is it me being silly or is it my family being their usual horrid self again.
I really need some help and suggestions it has got me down so much that I never want to celebrate another birthday as long as I live, I can't cope with the family. What am I to do????

Wednesday, 30 Jul Tough one. I would do what I want to do. I had a terrible 30th birthday, a black day I call it. I should've done what I wanted to do. I didn't. Your family will still be your family even if they decide not to go. I wish I had done more of my style of things, less over the hill crap and more CAKE!! maybe some cool drinks too. I love bingo and I think thats a great idea, what makes you happy is the right choice. arismomma5 -
Wednesday, 30 Jul it's your day and you should be able to do anything you want to do...BINGO sounds like alot of fun so I don't understand why they would object anyway...I'm sorry that you didn't get to enjoy your day the way you wanted to but I haven''t had a great birthday since 16 so I totally understand...Next year do what you want to do regardless of whatever it may be!!! HAPPY BELATED!!! you deserve the best... cantwaittoseemybaby -
Wednesday, 30 Jul For my BF 30th birthday I took him on one of those four hour cruises. It was not expensive at all. We ate by the window and the boat sailed up and down the beach. We watched the sun set. We danced. Then we went home and crashed. It was very nice. They even take your picture. Very nice evening. MelisaK -
Wednesday, 30 Jul You know, why not do both??? Have something horrid with the family (to shut them up) and then why not do something with just you and hubby...and if that is bingo then so be it. It is YOUR birthday so it should be something that you want to do or something that would please you...not everyone else. I hope you have a great birthday!!! (i would play bingo with you) Hopeful22 -
