17-6-2009 - Beyond Shocked! Dr. Appt!!

Hey Ladies! Ok, now i said that i would keep you guys posted on how my appointments go up to the point i give birth! Well Guess what! I got the news today that im going in to be induced at 8:45am TOMORROW!!! Im Numb right now! It's actually happening! I have these wave of emotions that i can't even explain! As of right now, im absolutely NUMB! I can't feel anything as far as emotions, not even scared anymore! Im just peaceful! I don't know what to think, or how to feel! WOW! I can say that it's perfect timing though, because i went to pick my mom up from the airport two hours before my appt. today, so im so thankful and grateful that she's here! Ok, i know you guys are wondering why im being induced tomorrow. He checked me today, and im 100% effaced and just over 1 cm dialated. He's leaving to go out of town friday because both of his parents fell sick within two days, and he won't be back til next friday 26th (my original due date)! But after checking me, he said he's almost 100% sure that i'll have her by Monday anyway, if not before! So with that being said, he said that he would rather go ahead and induce me, so i can deliver while he's here, because he understands that i would much rather him do it than an doctor that i don't even know! Which is sooooo true! Because i've built an Great relationship with my doc, and i definetely wouldn't be comfortable with any other doctor! So Ladies i know i said i wanted my lil momma to choose her own birthday, but everything happens for a reason, and i feel completly comfortable with the decision! Wow!! I still can't believe this yall! I guess you really have to be prepared to expect the unexpected! I hope yall you mommies are doing great and i wish you all the best! WOW! im still in disbelief! Ok, Labor Dust to All soon to be mommies, Baby Dust to all TTCers! Smoochies

Wow!That is a shocker. But when we get this close we have to expect the unexpected. Thats a blessing that your mom is there too, God worked that on out girl :). Good luck and prayers have went up so all is well! I know you cant wait to meet your princess.

that is a good treat ! congrats, im sure that things will work out just fine.. u better def have ur hospital bag packed now :) at least u dont have to worry about being over due..i go to my drs appt tomorrow, they should be doing an exam..im nervous plus excited to see if they give me any other info! such as if they think i will need a c-section because my baby is still breeched plus i have 3 fibroid that got bigger! ugh

That is great news! And truthfully I would probably do the same thing if I was in your position. I think everything will be fine and it's probably meant for her birthday to be tomorrow. So best of luck and an easy labor/delivery to you!!!!!
