So Xavier (or Xav as we like to call him) had his two month checkup yesterday and boy did we learn alot. First of all, my fat little chub wub weighs a whopping 13 lbs. 10 oz!! He only weighed 6 lbs 4 oz at birth!! Plus he has grown 4 inches and is now 23 inches long!! The doctor said he is advanced for his age (duh, I could've told her that lol) and is doing things that a 4 month old would do such as focusing well, laughing out loud, and rolling over, yes rolling over! As far as everything else goes he is perfectly healthy and happy little boy. Of course he had to have his dreaded shots, 3 of them, which he and I both cried as he received. He was a true trooper though and slept most of the day once we got home. Another milestone was reached last night as well. After his nightly bath and bottle (with cereal) he fell asleep around 9 pm and did not wake up until 4 this morning!! Yes ladies, for the first time since birth my little man slept a whole 7 hours!! Omigoodness, I could have cried!! I'm not getting too excited though because I think it was probably just due to the shots but we'll see tonight. Overall, I couldn't be happier right now. God is good and my husband and I are truly blessed. God bless all you ladies and those beautiful little bundles.
