So today Xavier had his 4 month checkup. Ok, I knew my son was big but I would never have imagined that they would have told me he weighs 17 lbs. 10 oz!! Keep in mind ladies that he only weighed 6 lbs 4 oz at birth!! He's also grown to 25 1/4 inches long! She measured his head and told us that it's in the 95th percentile. Not quite sure what that means other than the obvious, he's got a big head! His weight is on the 97th percentile and his height in the 77th. To make a long story very short, my son is a big boy!! I love every single one of his little rolls though. :) She was so excited to see his little tooth too! She told me to start him on solid foods next month and see how it goes. My mom suggested I start him sooner but we tried and he hasn't quite figured out the technical parts of a spoon! I am totally in love with this little guy. He's still not sleeping through the night but he sleeps around 5 hours at a time wakes up for a bottle and then usually goes right back down. His sleeping has been a bit more sporatic lately but we know his due to his teething. It doesn't bother me though, he's still the best part of my day. We went and looked at an exersaucer (like a bouncer/walker for those who may not be familiar) but he had no idea what to do in it so we decided to wait until next month. Well that's the latest on my lil guy. Hope all is well with u ladies and your little ones. Gotta go!
