18-6-2009 - Doctors appointment

My mood while writing this blog:
Okay

well i went to see my doctor yesterday made an appointment because i have been having diarrhoea since about 25 weeks off pregnancy its been going on now for about 3 or more months he made me do a stool sample afew weeks ago which was not nice yukkkk! but the results came back clear no infection in the bowels which was good, but i was still not happy as i am still suffering from this & was still alittle worried and as time is getting closer am affraid of going into labour and an accident happening if u know what i mean ladies hehehe! that would be my worse nightmare. There is no one in the famliy who suffers from bowel problems and i did'nt have it before the pregnancy and its not common during pregnancy only near the end it could be a sign or syptom of labour is gunna comence soon so he is sending me to see a specialist he said it could be that the pregnancy is effecting the bowels and may stop when i have had the baby which i hope it does, i don't get serve pains and its not bad diarrhoea its just mild but something to be concerned about and is not normal so he said it will propley be after i have had the baby when the specialist sends for me as i only got 2weeks to go now hopefully. Also while i was there i told him about my babys movements that recently seemed to have decreased alittle he listened to my babys heartbeat and felt my stomach said everything feels fine head is down and a nice strong heartbeat he said now at this stage babys can go alittle quite as he is head down and not much room to move but as long as i am feeling some movements each n everyday then not too worry. am back at the midwife next wednesday am soooo hoping there has been a change and she says am dilated in some way fingers crossed ladies for me....... so jealous of hearing that some ladies have gone into labour, or going into labour or are dilated :-) ohhh so hope i am very soon

Fingers crossed everything gets back to normal after your little one arrives. At least the doctor hasn't dimissed you and he is looking into it which is good. My little one still isn't moving much either, and I've still had loose bowls for a couple of weeks now. I just want it to all happen now, I go to bed every night thinking will I wake up in the night in labour!!!

I hope ur bowels get better soon. Hopefully as soon as baby gets here ull be good. And ya dont worrie about baby moving less my bub has been moving a lot less but i had her monitored for 40 minutes the other day and she was perfectly fine. Also now we only feel 40% of there movements as opose to feeling eevry movement like in the starting. Well im glad to hear heartbeat was good ;)
