24-6-2009 - Midwife checkup 39 weeks tomorrow

My mood while writing this blog:
fine

well ladies am alittle disapointed went to see my midwife for my 39week routine appointment today, ill be 39weeks tomorrow and the babys head is still 3/5 engaged the same has it was 2weeks ago last time i went to see her was hoping he had moved down further maybe to at least 2/5 or less, am not yet dialated but he is confirmed as head down the midwife said it is my babys head thats down and there was a good little heartbeat which am happy about she had alittle feel all seem well my blood pressure is also fine 115/77 so also happy am that too and my urine was clear no water infection :-) am due on the 2nd july and she has made me another appointment to go back and see her on the 8th july which then i will be 40weeks and 6days by then, which makes me past my due date and over due by 6days she said hopefully fingers crossed that i have him before then before i go back and see her on the 8th july am sooooo bloody hoping so too :) if i have not had him by then she said she is going to induce me so ill propley go and see her then she propley book me in at the hospital if thats where they do it and be induced weather its on the day, the day after i see her, or that same week, hope int too long i have to wait am getting nervous already thinking about it but hey ladies keep ur fingers crossed for me that he will arrive very soon and is well or at least before they induce me, and i am also measuring at 37 cms i was 35cms 2 weeks ago x
