10-6-2009 - been at hospital and leaving today

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Hi everyone!!!
Last Monday I woke up as usual to go to work , I felt a bit sleepy and had had bad dreams, anyway I got in the shower and as I was leaving ...I felt down... I said noooo I tried to be relaxed and called my doctor immediately, He asked whether I was bleeding or in pain and I said no.He told me to go to bed and rest and asked me to go to hospital at 3.

I didnt feel bad or bleed so I took another shower , got dressed and head to the hospital, once i got there, they sent me to a place and put a machine around my belly with some kind of belts, it was pretty traumatic and the sound of my baby heart beats were really loud,all of a sudden the doctor in charge approches to the machines and she told me that I had had 3 strong contractions in 30 minutes , my doctor appeared and told me that it was( I dnt know how to give the exact words beacause I speak Spanish) a menace for pre birth or sth so I have been here for 3 days and im better but a bit scared...

Bottom line girls be careful with falling downs an the truth is I was extremely stressed too, that wont help!

Ps My baby boy is doing great!!!!

Oh girly! I'm soo sorry you had to go through this. Thankfully all turned out good. Please take care...Tip: given that I've become very clumsy and I fear falling in the bathtub too, I lay a small towel in the shower and stand on it, it is much better that standing on the tiles or the bathtub porcelain cause it is not slippy. It helps me feel a little reassured. Plus I do step on a small mat when exiting the tub or shower for the same reasons. Hugz...
