08-2-2009 - robyn at 12 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: reallly happy

Hey everyone, I thought it was about time that I gave an update on Robyn, seen as thats her 12 weeks already! Wow how fast the time goes once theyre here!! It feels like just yesterday I had 2 weeks of my pregnancy to go & I was wishing everyday away so I could meet my baby hehe!

So shes doing great, she was weighed a couple of weeks ago & she was 9lbs 2oz so she must be well over 10lbs by now. Considering she was only 6lbs 3oz when she was born I think shes doing really well. She takes 6oz bottles every 4hours & sleeps for around 9 hours through the night! I know Im really lucky that way, so I hope she keeps that up, especially when I go back to work in June lol!! I think she may be teething at the moment as well, because her cheeks go red from time to time & shes constantly chewing on her fists, her mitts are always soaking lol!! She doesnt seem to be fazed by it though, so thats good!

Shes due to get her 2nd set of injections onTuesday, so am not looking forward to that, mind you she was great with the 1st set. She only cried for a few mins & then she was fine. Shes also had to go to hospital twice for ultrasound scans on her hips, which is procedure when your baby was breech for a long time during the pregnancy. When she went the 1st time, 6 weeks ago, they said her hips were a little immature, just because she was so small I think, so they wanted her to go back 4 weeks later. When we went the 2nd time they said the angles of her hips looked borderline, so they just want to check them, hopefully for the last time, just to be on the safe side, so fingers crossed they will be ok.

Apart from that though Robyns always really happy. Shes constantly smiling, laughing, cooing & squealing, especially when Barney the dinosaurs on the tv lol!! It cracks her up haha!
