19-12-2008 - stretch marks =(

My mood while writing this blog:
depressed!!!

omg i am so depressed!! i'm 38 1/2 weeks and NOW i'm getting stretch marks! i thought for sure i would go through the whole pregnancy without them since i made it this far... but No0o0o... or course not lol. i found them last night... there not extremely bad or anything yet... but im scared they will be... i dont want to have a wrinkly tummy with loose skin =( i wanna have my old tummy back... I know it sounds kind of rude and selfish... but it's the truth... i really hope that after i have my babygirl they will all just fade away and it's not all wrinkly n stuff... i'm 2 cm dialated and my dr said that she thinks i will have her before Christmas... i'm REALLY hoping she's right... but i dont feel like im going to go into labor...? lol i dont know... but i have another appointment on Tuesday... and if i havent gone into labor by then, then i think im going to ask her if she could induce me... the worst she can do is say no... buuut i really wanna have my baby before Christmas so me and my boyfriends family can all see her... (and i really dont want my stretch marks to get any worse) well i just had to vent to somebody cause my boyfriend dont like to hear it =/

Palmers Tummy Butter, I started using it after I saw my first stretch marks and didnt get anymore and it made the ones I had almost disappear!!

i didn't get any stretch marks on my belly..just ALL over my butt and thighs!!! They have faded some though so I'm sure you have nothing to worry bout. and if they do end up staying just think of them as a gift from your daughter.

Don't worry if they are very light I doubt that they will get worse. Just don't scratch and rub rub rub vitamin E and cocoa butter on that belly hun...Good Luck!!!

The same thing happened to me. Go buy some vitamin E pills and the vitamin E stick. Cut the capsules after a warm bath/ shower and rub the vitamin E on the marks. Vitamin E works wonders. The stick is to use throughout the day and when you rush, as the capsules are a tad sticky and messy. But it works. Mine have not spread and they actually look faded already...good luck

i completely understand! i went to 35 1/2 weeks and am just now getting stretch marks.
i was like excuse me? lol. goooo away!
but i know they fade.
and once i start working out again, hopefully that helps too.

its ok ... it may look like it's tha bad but it may not be. pray about it and let it go. Hopefully it will not br as bad as you think if not bad at all!

oh man..my stretch marks on my rear and thighs and hips have gotten worse..but i still dont have them on my belly..but im wont be surprised if i do get them..im trying sooo hard to not let them get me down, but i have to admit i wanna cry sometimes when i see how bad they look on my booty..i dont even like my man to see me nude anymore because of how bad they are..well that and cause of the cellulite my poor poor thighs have on them just under my booty :( im gonna have to work to get my body back to its soft youthful look i had before pregnancy. But we have youth on our side!!!

awe. yeah. most guys don't really care to hear about a lot of things. but that is just too bad. they are with us, we deal with their shit. they can listen for a bit. haha

i am sure you will be able to get your old tummy back & your extreamly lucky that you only just got them. i started getting mine at about 27 weeks. so ive been treating them with oils & such. they aren't bad so i am fine with it. (i was never one to show my tummy off anyways!) but you should be fine. dont worry.

&&& i hope you have her before christmas too. it would be such a wonderful gift for yourself!
