okay, so Little Miss Lynzie is 9 months old now, and she is spoiled rotten. she is crawling everywhere and has been since she was 5 months old. she is almost walking. shes taken 4 steps. and takes a few steps everyday. But If I put her down she SCREAMS until i pick her up. If im sitting on the couch and shes on the floor she screams. the only time shes happy is if were both on the couch or if im on the floor with her. which is pretty much 24.7 now just so i can keep her happy. but i cant get anything done. I cant cook or clean or anything. because she SCREAMS. and i get NO time to myself. she's been spoiled since she was littlle. and now i need to know what to do to unspoil her. holding her and staying on the floor with her 24.7 is ridiculous. she throws HUGE FITS. already! so if you know what i can do please let me know.

Tuesday, 6 Oct Aww bless, Jake is a bit like that, he doesnt like me leaving the room but if hes got somethin to occupy him hes ok. If i were u id just let her have her screaming fit n just show her she cant have her way all the time. xx Andthismakes3 -
Wednesday, 30 Sep Skylar was kinda that way too..and still gets that way a little. What i do is put Skylar on the floor and if she cries for me I sit down with her and show her one of her favorite toys(usually a book or musical something) Once she gets occupied enough I slowly creep out of the room or go sit on the couch. At night Skylar got into the habit of screaming until I came in to rock her back to sleep so eventually I just had to let her cry it out with me occasionally going in just to check on her or reassure her im still around. It was really hard at first but it worked..you could apply this to Lynzie during the day. I hope this helps and good luck! Bvartanian88 -
Wednesday, 30 Sep Oh and make sure she has plenty of toys to choose from if you leave her on the floor. Try a Jumperoo or something too. In the morning while I'm drinking my coffee at the table and checking emails, I put cheerios on the kitchen floor (I am a crazy cleaning lady, so don't worry. Besides, it''s not like they stay in the bowl anyways! haha) and it keeps her occupied until I'm done. Just little things, you know? Bvartanian88 -
Wednesday, 30 Sep I say put her down and leave the room (making sure she's safe of course!). Or set her in her crib to cry. She needs to learn that throwing tantrums is not the way to get attention! Kaylee was doing this and it drove me freaking insane!!! Our family room is blocked off from the rest of the house with a really long gate, so i set her down and left the room until she stopped crying. If I need to get something done, in the crib she goes. She stops after about 5 minutes. But she only does it now if she's sleepy, so I cuddle her before putting her to sleep :D hippiemommy09 -
Tuesday, 29 Sep oh girl Jude is the same way, when im in the kitchen i put him in his high chair and give him snacks to eat, and when we are up stairs i put him in his play pin and give him things he is really interested in, he likes things he shouldnt play with so i give him things like a calculator or an empty dvd case, stuff like that...it helps a little, but after a bit he gets bored and wants mommy to hold him. he drives me nuts, but itll get better, you just might have to deal with the crying and let her learn to entertain and soothe herself. oh and also jude has a walker and loves it, that helps keep him entertained to.
