My mood while writing this blog: Happy |
Shell is starting to feel the morning sickness again. Hopefully these are only the early stage symptoms and they will go away soon. I hope that the sickness this time round won't be as bad as it was during the last pregnancy as Shell got really ill at one time. I'm going to try and help out as much as I can again during this pregnancy as I'm sure it's still going to be different from the last time because it's our second. We've already looked up the things that can help with nausea and we'll have to get some in to see if anything will help. Shell has been chatting online with some other new mums and second time mums so I hope she can find some people to talk through what is happening and share advice and experiences with.
Sarah is developing quickly and is well in to the naughty toddler stage and testing all her boundaries, even though she's not yet two. I'm not sure that she really understands what is happening to her mummy yet, but we are excited for her as well as us! When we first found out that we were going to be parents again our first reaction was shock and terror, but it could actually be a really good thing that we're going to have another one who will be a similar age to Sarah as she'll have someone to play with and give mummy a break! In the meantime I'll be doing all the helping out for Shell when she's feeling poorly.

Tuesday, 23 Sep Sorry to hear you are unwell. This is my secind pregnancy too, and our little boy is 2yrs old. I am feeling worse this time around, feeling yuck in the morning which is bad for me as I am very much a morning person. It is good Shell that you have a partner that wants to help out as much as he does, some blokes would run a mile! So make the most of it while you can lol! Keep me posted and look after yourself and take care x
