My mood while writing this blog: quite jolly

Today was my first midwife appointment!! It went really well, i feel like the pregnancy is more real now! My blood pressure was taken, a lil low but nothing abnormal. I had a blood test, (3 fecking viles, why is that necessary LOL) and i had to do a urine sample. Now i have to say, that is not as easy as it sounds. My midwife gives me this tiny lil pot (like a test tube) and nothing else. Im thinking how am i supposed to pee in this tiny thing, not even a flippin cup was available. Yes i peed on my hand, and i have to say its not the most pleasant of experiences LOL sorry tmi!!!

Anyway i got my scan booked in for November 3rd (12 wk scan), im really excited about it, i cant wait to see beanie!! I asked my midwife about being too big, and she said it was completely normal cos ive not long had a baby and also its my 2nd baby. Hopefully though when i get the scan, my worries will vanish!

Im so excited now!! Its like it has finally sunk in, that im pregnant! Morning sickness isnt as bad today, feeling alright at the mo! The midwife has told me that she is booking me in to see a obstetric consultant, because im coming off of antidepressants and because i will prob have to have a c section as i suffered SPD in first pregnancy and am likely to get it again, its already a bit bad and im only 6 wks. But the midwife says its because of the pregnancy hormones, not the weight gain at this stage.

Atm despite everything, like coming off anti depressant, i feel great! Lets hope this continues !!
