| 05-10-2008 - CHEESE | My mood while writing this blog:weird |
Im craving cheese at the moment. Gavin thought i was very strange last night when he woke me up after falling asleep on the sofa (i was supposed to be watchin a movie). As we were going up to bed, i ask him for a couple of slices of cheese, im sure he thought i was mad! Today i have craving cheese as well. I cant stand strong cheese, it has to be plain boring mild cheddar cheese!
We all seem to be feeling better from our colds, the worst of it has gone, with just a few sniffles left. Still getting the flipping queasiness though, not that i should complain because i was really ill when i was pregnant with Sarah!
I wish i wasnt so tired though, its rediculous! I can fall asleep anywhere and in any position. Im so tired all the time and when i wake up, its like i hadnt had any sleep. I get people say 'you're always tired' and to be honest it wides me up, before i was pregnant i was on strong medication and i think to myself when someone says it, 'you stupid twats, i think you'd be tired if you were as drugged up as i am!!' Coming off the meds hasnt helped with the tiredness because of the pregnancy so im not feeling many benefits of being off them. I cant wait until the second trimester when i have a bit more energy and i know what it feels like not to be tired.
I saw my midwife on friday and she has told me to go to the GP for a referral to physio, as my SPD has returned. I thought it was weird because im only 7 weeks pregnant, but she explained that its because the hormones relaxing the ligaments. We were both in agreement that this was going to be a tough pregnancy. I know i can cope because i did before and it was worth it in the end when i had Sarah! My plan for tomorrow is to see the doctor, (i cant stand my doctor, grr!), im also hoping that while i wait for my assessment appointment with physio they can supply me with a pregnancy support belt, my midwife said it would help, so im prepared to give it a good go!
