| 07-2-2009 - Hospital AGAIN!! | My mood while writing this blog:heartburn sucks |
Well I got sent up the hospital yesterday because for the past two days I had been leaking clear fluid, midwife said she wanted to make sure my membranes hadnt ruptured. So I went up and they checked the babys heartbeat on the fetal heart monitor for like hour and half to make sure he wasnt distressed (which he wasnt)! Everything is fine with bubba! Then I had an internal to confirm that the membranes were still intact (which they were/are), only concern was that my cervix was a bit inflamed (but closed). So I got sent home, but had to return next day as they wanted to give me a scan to check fluid levels were ok.
So today I went to the hospital today and had my scan! The doctor confirmed that the baby was 100% a boy! (just as well as i've already got loads of blue stuff)! The baby is fine, his measurements are a lil small (so he is not a big baby like everyone says he is gonna be), if we went by scan measurements my due date would be put back to 28/05/09 but because my mentrual cycle is so regular we are sticking with the original date! But basically I have so much fluid (which is why my fundal measurements and bump are big). The doctor said that because there is so much fluid in there (some possibly from the twin that died and wasnt reabsorbed) there is a lot of extra pressure and so its likely i just leaked a bit of fluid, but membranes deffo havent ruptured!! He wont be out yet, thank goodness. He is a very active bubba, daddy is enjoying watching him move and can feel all his movements now, trouble is he seems to only wake up at night!
all fine!
Mummy attached to monitor!
