My mood while writing this blog: sad and wanna see my boy |
Quick update before i sleep or try to... Joshua Stevens was born 20th April 2009 at 22.59 pm. He weighs 6lb 4 (very good for 35 and half weeks preg) But here is the sad part...he is a very poorly baby at the mo, he is in high dependancy unit as he is struggling with his breathing and other things. It broke my heart tonight when i was discharged from hospital and had to leave him. The moses basket remains empty besides my bed and i dont have him inside me anymore to remind me hes there, its killing me not being with him. I love him so much and im so worried bout him.
Im going back first thing in the morning to be with him, please pray for him to get better...i will update on birth story and everything when he's better.
Poopa, i love him so much

Thursday, 23 Apr Hun, I know how you feel - my son was born at 36 weeks after I having just stayed in hospital for 80 days. He needed to go to the NICU for three weeks - I was gutted that I could not take him home, but the care he got was absolutely fantastic. He needed a respirator for two days and C-PAP for a week, then oxygen for another week, then he was monitored for the last week to make sure his oxygen levels stayed above 90%. It was tough, but I knew he needed the care and that he was getting wht he needed to come home strong. He'll be by your side soon enough :) starlyte -
