Well, I went to the doctor and they were full of surprises. I did not get to hear the heart beat b/c the Doc told me it may be still soon with a sonogram. And just so I wouldn’t worry she took me back for a quick ultrasound. I love seeing the baby, it is so surreal. And there he/she was jumping around. I saw the heart beat and the Doctor determined everything was GREAT!! That was the only great things about my apt. My blood pressure was high b/c I am always stressed out in the doctor’s office. I had a miscarriage last year at 5 weeks and I worry now at the doctor just b/c I want everything to be ok. So, the Doctor decided to give me my sugar test and prick me for more blood. After they took my blood the blood tech handed me an orange jug and a “hat” looking thing to me and told me I have to collect urine for 24 hours. With no real answers I left with a blank stare. They told me to take my blood pressure at home. My blood pressure is always perfect out of their office! So I think I may just have “white coat syndrome”. LOL. So, I will do the 24 hour test on Friday!
