| 09-6-2008 - Dr. apt: June 6, 2008 |  My mood while writing this blog:GREAT DAY!!! |
Went to apt. and everything went GREAT!! It is nice to have good news. Blood pressure, 24 hour urine screen, and sugar test all came back great/normal. I finally got to hear the heart beat. The doctor said it was in the upper 140’s. Now I must wait for my next apt July 2nd. THE BIG ONE. The ultrasound that will, lord willing, let me know the gender and that the baby is healthy. I am so excited!! Until then I can relax about all those tests. While in the doctor office I just had to tell my self that this is not about me, it is about the baby. And the baby needs me. So run all the tests you need, as long as my baby is taken care of I will be fine. I also opted to not take the genetic testing. Of course I can change my mind if I want but, my husband and I decided there was nothing we would do either way. Did any one else opt out? Well more on 7/2/08.
--Also earlier in the day I felt the baby jab/kick/poke me. It was exciting! I just knew that is what it was. I have always felt fluttering here and there but, this was different.
