04-8-2008 - Dr. apt: August 1, 2008 + Update

My mood while writing this blog: GREAT!!

Went to the doctor Friday, the quickest apt I ever had!! I was in the doctor’s office for 15 minutes, unbelievable I know!! My first experience with a male doctor too. He had me lay down and he checked the growth of my uterus. He then proceeded to measure it with measuring tape. He said that I am measuring 24 weeks rather than 23. And I had just turned 23 weeks the day before (Thursday 7/31). But, he did not change my due date or anything like that. He then listened to the heart beat. Which he found right away. I guess now of days the baby does not have much room to hide : ) He said my blood pressure was great, baby’s heart beat was great, urine great, weight great, and growth was great. I have gained about 5 pounds over all. (In the beginning of my pregnancy I lost 10 pounds then gained it all back, so I equaled out. But now I have gained 5 extra pounds) So, Everything was great and I thank God everyday for it. *Next apt September 2nd 2008.

UPDATE: I also got my card so I can pre-register at the hospital for labor and delivery. Still have not heard back from hospital about when my child birth classes will be but it is already paid for. Baby Isaiah moves allot and I just feel closer and closer to this little guy. I talk to him and he will kick around. So cute!! Just love him!!
