20-10-2008 - October 18, 2008: Baby Shower

My mood while writing this blog: Excited

Had my baby shower on Saturday and it was allot of fun. My mother and sister put it together for me. I made out very well! I was surprised and overwhelmed by all of the generosity! I got everything from a changing table, car seat (not for when they are real little but when they grow out of the carrier, my sister already gave us the stroller/carrier combo), diapers, bottles, clothes, ect… It was so much fun! And it was very exhausting. After the shower my parents helped us move in the changing table and all the gifts into the room. My husband finally took the desk out (it use to be an office). So besides some disarray of items that need to be washed, sorted, and put away…the baby room is complete. I made a small dent by removing tags and my husband and I separated everything, on Sunday.

I am so excited! It is so surreal to think that I am so close to meeting my little Isaiah! I am both excited and nervous! I am not so nervous about delivery b/c like it or not I have to go through with it. I am more nervous about being the best mom I can! If I can even be half as good as a mother my mom is I will be great. I can not wait to meet him! Doctor apt tomorrow, can not wait to see what is said next (this is sarcasm) J But anyway, I had lots of pictures taken and will put a few up! Thanks for listening and I hope everyone is doing well. Now if I could just get motivated to pack my hospital bag!
