06-2-2009 - Isaiah Update 02/05/2009

My mood while writing this blog: Feeling Good

Went to Isaiah’s doctor appointment yesterday. He weighed in at 13.5 lbs and stretched out to 24 ½ inches. He is so long! He got his check up and then his first shots. I even cried. He was so upset and it took me sometime to calm him down.

Isaiah is doing well. He is so huggable and kissable!! I just love him. He is great with holding his head up. He grabs and bats around at his toys. He keeps great eye contact and can follow an object. You can keep his attention for a good while. He smiles all the time and sleeps anywhere from 8 to 9 hours a night. He babbles, coos and makes all kinds of noises. He definitely knows his mommy and daddy. He is a great baby! So sweet and cuddly.

I am now use to being a mom. I can not remember a life without him. I love it. At work I get sad because I miss my little man. But, when he smiles at me when I pick him up at the sitter it makes me feel so much better. I love the private sitter I have. She works with Isaiah on his tummy time and verbal skills. He can really “babble” up a storm!! He is so interactive these days. The first day I went back to work was sad but I feel that he is safe and loved by his sitter. She really goes above and beyond.
