16-9-2009 - Isaiah Update 09/16/2009

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Isaiah is doing great. He is currently 9 ½ months. He went to the doctor Friday and he is doing well. He did get his first virus. At 9 months that is great. I am glad he was not sick much younger than now. He was 20 lbs 14 oz and 29.5 inches long. He is tall and skinny. Got his first flu shot and we go back in a month for another flu shot and the swine flu shot. Then the next time after that will be is first year physical! I can not believe that he will be 1 in about 2 1/2 months!!! J

He is so smart and tries to make sounds that sound like words. He will say dada and of course he has been saying mama. . He will wave, when he wants to, and say “bye-bye”, when he feels like it. He still stands and cruises around furniture. Last night he almost took a first step. It was sort of a step but I won’t count it yet. He plays for hours and of course loves his mother. This is a really fun age! He has been eating all sorts of foods since my last update; Spaghetti, lasagna, Mac and cheese…so needless to say he has 5 teeth up top and 3 on the bottom. They all came in at once. He picks up food with his fingers and I have given him peaches and strawberries.

I love him so much and I know I am his mother but I just think he is so smart. At about 6 ½ months, he has a little helicopter that plays music and has balls you can stick into a hole up top in the center of the “chopper”. He has been putting those balls/shapes into the helicopter really well! He tries to use his little pointer finger to push them down J Over all he has been doing really well and advancing quickly. I am sorry I can not stop bragging about my little man! I just love him! He is my life!

To minkymoo78 I am so happy for you and congrats on your little one. I can't wait to see more pictures of your little one! I know I really need to update mine!
